Year
2023-2024
Repos Energy is a leading provider of Fuel Management Solution. This case study serves as a continuous record of our ongoing efforts, highlighting key milestones and design decisions implemented to date, encompassing user experience (UX) and a user interface (UI) design across various platforms.
Overview
Repos Energy is transforming B2B fuel distribution with an on-demand fuel delivery platform. The ecosystem includes multiple applications for fuel buyers, station partners, delivery operators, and internal management teams.
As a UI/UX Designer, I worked on 4+ applications and 5+ web dashboards, ensuring a seamless experience across all platforms while balancing two different design systems.
My Role
Working independently, I was responsible for:
User Experience Strategy – Understanding user needs and defining intuitive workflows.
UI Design & Prototyping – Creating scalable, high-fidelity interfaces for web & mobile.
Design System Management – Balancing the existing Customer App design system with a new system for the other applications.
Collaboration – Coordinating with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to align business and user goals.
Key Challenges
Adapting to an Existing Design System – The Customer App was designed by a previous agency, requiring me to maintain consistency when updating features.
Managing Multiple Products – Designing seven interconnected applications as a solo designer required prioritization and scalability.
B2B Process Complexity – Understanding the logistics behind fuel deliveries, vehicle tracking, and partner management was crucial for designing efficient workflows.
Design Approach
I followed an iterative research-driven design process to ensure usability and scalability:
User Research – Conducted stakeholder interviews to understand fleet operators, fuel station owners, and internal teams.
Information Architecture & User Flows – Mapped out seamless workflows for ride scheduling, fuel tracking, and inventory management.
Wireframes & UI Design – Created a modular design system that could scale as the company expanded into biofuels, CNG, and EV solutions.
User Testing & Iteration – Regular feedback loops ensured that designs met business needs and improved user efficiency.
Outcomes & Impact
Even under NDA, I can share that my work:
Improved operational efficiency by designing intuitive dashboards for internal teams.
Enhanced the order & delivery process with better tracking, navigation, and scheduling features.
Created a scalable design system that allows future integration of new energy solutions (biofuels, EV, etc.).
Learnings & Takeaways
Working across multiple products requires a structured design approach to maintain consistency.
Designing for B2B logistics challenges helped me understand complex workflows and operational pain points.
Balancing scalability with real-time user needs was key to delivering an effective experience.

I’d love to give you a behind-the-scenes look at how I fueled innovation at Repos Energy, but confidentiality agreements have me on lock. What I can say is that it was a powerful journey of pushing UX boundaries and designing for real impact. The project was electrifying and game-changing in every sense. While the details are tucked away for now, the work speaks for itself— even if I can’t— and its impact is fueling some exciting developments!
